Yesterday, 12th of March, the editorial team of Helsinki Times celebrated the beautiful weather by going outdoors. Our destination was Espoo's Tapiola. First we drove a little bit around, our sightseeing objects were the Technical University's campus and the Innopoli complex, were many new finnish startup companies are located. Tim gave the tour in Finnish and he did really well!

We then somehow ended up in Tapiola's Culture Center, where we visited the art exhibition of Christer Aberg. He had his acryl and oil paintings, lithographs and applications on display here.


Since it was a Sales exhibition, we were also allowed to take pictures.

Next we walked around a little bit in the Culture Center, jumped in to the library and found out, that the books we had borrowed were late, so we extended the lending time.

Then we decided to check out Tapiola's shopping center aswell. Apparently the locals are not so fond of food, 'cause we didn't find a supermarket to do our groceries. So instead we bought some magazines, a movie called "High Fidelity" and a lottery ticket for tonight. And Siki got a big bunch of tulips already for her birthday on Sunday (tomoorow). That made her really happy - since tulips are her favorite flowers.


This was the editorial team's trip to Tapiola. Let's see, what comes up next weekend.
