On Tuesday morning, 23rd of March, the battalion of US Army opened a gymnastic hall in Bagdad, which is named after Andres Nuiamagi. Nuiamagi was a subaltern sergeant of Estonian Army, who got killed in Iraq on February, 28th.
Andres Nuiamagi died during his service time in Bagdad. He was accomplishing his routine patrolling and he got killed by a home-made bomb. He was the first and fortunately the last Estonian victim of the Iraqi war for now.
